Maldives Polytechnic

Maldives Polytechnic was created by a Presidential Decree under Article 116 of the constitution of the Maldives on April 12, 2010 as the national government institution to develop, manage and provide training facilities for technical and vocational education and training.

Maldives Polytechnic operates within the Maldives Qualification Framework aligned with the principles and practices of partnership with the industry and community to provide demand driven skills development for economic growth and the needs of the people for employment.

Became a faculty of Maldives College of Higher Education and was renamed as Faculty of Engineering Technology (FET)
